Top Gear Integration in Forza 4

Beginning with the Forza Motorsport 3 Ultimate Collection, BBC's Top Gear and Turn10 have a long-term collaborative partnership. This means that several aspects of the game were done with the show, and hosts, in mind. The Top Gear modes that have been confirmed include the following: Car Soccer, Car Bowling, the Reasonably Priced Car Races, and Autovista commentary by Jeremy Clarkson.

Car Soccer

Announced on July 29th, 2011 on the official Forza Motorsport 4 website, Car Soccer is loosely modeled around the popular segment from the BBC show. However, instead of being limited to just the city cars that TopGear used, you’ll be able to create a custom game scenario with virtually any car in the game—and with the addition of 16-player multiplayer support, even more of your friends can play.

Car Bowling

Drivers are challenged to knock down bowling pins while blasting around the TopGear Test Track, trying to rack up as many points as possible. The great part about this mode is that there are multiple techniques for knocking over the most pins; whether you slide into them or go straight at ‘em is up to you. It’s just another way that Forza 4 will allow players to experience cars in new and novel ways, and the bottom line is (trust us on this) it’s just a ton of fun.

Autovista

thumb|350px|left|Forza 4 Autovista Gameplay (Off-Screen)Go beyond the racetrack and step into a world where the most exclusive cars are yours to explore in Forza Motorsport 4’s new Autovista feature. Walk around and take in the stunning lines of the Ferrari 458 Italia. Step inside the McLaren F1’s cockpit and take a seat in the center-mounted driver’s seat. Fire up the Bugatti Veyron’s 8-liter 16-cylinder engine and feel your bones shake with the sound. Or sit back and relax as Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson takes you on an audio tour of each car in the Autovista showroom with his trademark blend of insight and wit. Autovista is your chance to explore the world’s most incredible cars at a level of detail never before seen in a videogame.
