Longtime builder of low-production, high-performance cars, 1G Racing has advanced to the next level by licensing the incredible Noble M12, originally a handbuilt British supercar. The result was launched with a new company name and a heavily revised product: the Rossion Q1. The Q1 has been thoroughly reengineered for greater refinement, and resculpted to give the already pretty silhouette fine details befitting its exotic performance. The powerplant is still a 3-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 from the Ford parts bin, but extensively improved to make an exotic 450 horsepower. In a car that weighs just a bit more than a ton and a half, this means the Q1 is quick with a capital “Q” (pun intended), providing ferocious acceleration and a high top speed. 60 mph flashes by in 3 seconds, and 100 mph in an astounding 7.7 seconds. Not that the Q1 is only good in a straight line, as the suspension has been completely reworked to provide greater grip. It’ll run through a slalom cone course in less time than a Ferrari Enzo, to boot. Give Rossion credit for taking an already excellent car and not only making it better, but giving it a character all its own.
