There was no production car that could reach the amazing speed of 414 mph (666 km/h) with a W16 engine. This was a speed never seen before. Bugatti aspired to see this record broken, so they not only made the fastest production car in the world, they beat the previous record holder by 1 mph (1.6 km/h). First showcased at the 2010 Pebble Beach Concourse d'Elegance, and produced shortly afterwards, Bugatti has announced that they will only produce a mere 50 of this amazing car. Bugatti doesn't cut corners. When they set out to break records, they keep going until the job is done. This certainly shows in the Veyron Super Sport, what with 1200 bhp and 880 kW. All of this certainly is worth its hefty price tag, a staggering 2.7 million US dollars. This car certainly deserves the right to be called one of the most amazing cars in the world.
